Ingredients:

1 cup fresh strawberries.

1 cup butter, room temperature.

3 1/2 cups confectioners sugar, sifted, portioned.

1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions:

Blend the strawberries to a fine purée using a blender.

Pour the purée into a saucepan and simmer over medium heat until it's reduced by half, with frequent stirring.

In a mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to whip the butter until it's fluffy then gradually blend in one cup of the sugar.

Combine two tablespoons of the cooled strawberry purée and vanilla extract into the butter mixture until it's just incorporated.

Continue alternating the remaining sugar and strawberry purée into the mix until all is used and the frosting is smooth and creamy.
