Indulgent Cheeseburger Slider Bake (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 2 packages (17 ounces each) Hawaiian sweet rolls.
02 - 22 slices American or cheddar cheese, divided.
03 - 2 pounds ground beef.
04 - 1 cup chopped onion.
05 - 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes with garlic and onion, drained.
06 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard.
07 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
08 - 3/4 teaspoon salt.
09 - 3/4 teaspoon pepper.
10 - 24 bacon strips, cooked and broken into 1-inch pieces.
11 - 1 cup butter, cubed.
12 - 1/4 cup packed brown sugar.
13 - 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce.
14 - 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard.
15 - 2 tablespoons sesame seeds.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350° F. Cut the Hawaiian sweet rolls in half without separating them and place the bottom halves in greased pans. Layer with slices of cheese and melt in the oven for 3-5 minutes.
02 - In a skillet, cook beef and onions until browned; drain excess grease. Mix in tomatoes, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, cooking briefly.
03 - Spoon the beef mixture over the cheesy rolls, add bacon pieces, and cover with remaining cheese and roll tops.
04 - For the glaze, combine butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard in a bowl. Microwave until the butter melts. Drizzle or brush the mixture over the roll tops, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
05 - Bake the sliders until they are golden brown and heated through, about 20-25 minutes. Serve warm.

Notes:

01 - Use Hawaiian sweet rolls for a slightly sweet and soft texture.
02 - Adjust the amount of cheese to your preference; more will make it gooier.
03 - Cooking the beef until no pink remains ensures its safely done.
04 - The glaze adds a rich, flavorful coating to the top of the sliders.
05 - Bacon adds a smoky flavor and crunch to complement the beef and cheese.
